Regular DEX, low DEX, or DEXless?

It's always been low-dex and still will be low-dex after Big Bang. If you're funded enough you can pull off the low-dex build with 25 base dex, effectively being "dexless," but it's still really the same as the low-dex build. Keep your dex low and add to it only if you need more dex to equip something and don't have enough dex equips to cover it.

Efemera Low DEX can't compete with DEXless. Two words. ALEIN. STUFF. Non-statless characters, considering that alein stuff are OBTAINABLE, are useless. And even without VIP claws, Last Unwelcome claws... They got 5 att less than a Reverse Lampion. Get +135DEX just for those 5att? nothx, I'll get LUK eqps instead. A fully-leveled Lampion (AKA, +2att every level) will have 11att more. Still not worth it, and those Lampions are not only not worth the stats, they also aren't worth the money. (Re-buying/makering and re-scrolling every time you don't get the full stats?) Timeless... Never seen one, but they got a whopping 7 att more than a Last Unwelcome. And if you can buy enough Timeless Lampions to get the full upgrade... Why not go for the VIP claw? It's all very confusing. All in all. Dexless = cheaper & stronger. A bit less wdef. Boohoo. VIP claw: 25 req dex (thief requirement, not for the claw) 64att + 16LUK +4DEX Timeless Lampion: 160 req dex 56att +8LUK, with avg full upgrade of: 61att +15-16LUK +2-3 DEX. Max levels: 66att +20LUK +5DEX 135DEX... Out of which of course zhelm or whatnot, about 30-40 would be "natural" Sooo yeah. @op There's no real reason this will change after BB, but we'll see.

[/quote] It's not about the claw, it's about the glove, top, bottom, and shoes. Every thief should have at least 120 dex before those equips are accounted for to equip the level 80 set. It's not too difficult to achieve that with 25 base dex, but you need to get that dex one way or another. That said, it doesn't matter if a claw is dexless or not.
