Post BB, are Shads are going to be wanted more in boss runs? I'm thinking with BS having no cooldown that they would be, but I don't know. I'm wondering because I am getting bored of my ranger, and I have a lvl 94 cb with a good amount of rep, so getting to 120 will not take too long. I love playing my cb, and being wanted more in boss runs would be a plus.

aaronthecow oh ok, good to know thanks. rutger I feel that becoming good at bossiing is pretty easy, all you have to know is the boss' attacks and what to do for each one. So that will not be a problem there. Also, it's not like I'm restarting, I've been switching between my cb and ranger like every other level or so; this would just be a more permanent change. I really like the playing style of a cb, but I also like rangers too, which is why I keep switching hah. I eventually want both a BM and a Shadower.

I never had any trouble getting my Shad into runs, a good shadower is incredibly useful.

If you like the CB playstyle, go for it. Stack the reps and NX 2x exp cards and you'll get to your Ranger's level and beyond very quickly (My girlfriend leveled her CB yesterday from Lvl 103 0% to Lvl 104 in well under an hour at Himes solo using just a rep 30 min 2x exp buff). xD Edit: Of course, this is all assuming you gear isn't like below average and that you play like an hour or two a day. xD

Kaminokusair Cool, because most of the time I hear that shads are useless, which I highly doubt. orangeking11 Well I do have below avg gear lol, he is my second character. Only good things on him are a 10atk wg and a 2atk 10dex cape. I can still lvl him really quick at typhons. Dagger is a 103atk varkit, nothing is potentialed. What level could I go to himes? 100?

Himes can actually be done as early as 85-90 with meso guard but with average to no funding, I recommend at least being 90-95 so you deal enough damage to kill quickly. Gl with your cb.

Based on Basil's Big Bang guide, max smokescreen now has a 3 minute cooldown and still lasts 1 minute. That means that 1/3 of the time your party's not taking damage. Sounds good for bosses to me :P EDIT: well it said that before but now I see 6 minutes. One of these days I'll have to have an all shad party :P

Im not gona read all comments but Boomerang step doesnt have no delay, it has the same delay is has now POST balance patch. Its STILL better to put a savage in between 2 boomerang steps.. so yeah we're still not fantastic at bosses. The smokescreen CD would be good, but im not sure if that makes us REALY wanted.. its all about connections of course. If you realy love bossing your ranger is a better bet because poeple realy love Sharp Eyes.

Have you watched any shadower videos comparing them or what?
