I have no respect for Smokers.

I know it's not their fault that they're addicted, but it's their fault, knowing the consequences, to begin. To those who smoke but want to quit, good on you, but others.. =/ I hold my breath when I walk past them, do you guys do that? Some kids in my school yell "Smoking kills!" and run away when they pass people who smoke; immature right? What are your thoughts about smokers? I hope that when there's a zombie apocalypse I'm Louis and I shoot your guts out. EDIT: The sentence above is just referencing L4D, I don't ACTUALLY want to do that. and.. To clear it up with some of you, I don't hate them, just have no respect for them. That's my own opinion and not everyone has to agree. I am just sharing my thoughts with the basil community. And, the consequences I am referring to are the cancers, etc that it can cause. Yeah, they know that that's going to happen, but they know that it's not something they want. I'm not telling them they can't, it's legal, so they should have the right to.

I'm not sure. I've never been addicted to smoking so I find it sort of ignorant, if you will, to say, "SMOKING GIVES YOU CANCER" when I have never been in their shoes. I mean, sure it's unhealthy and there are various health risks associated with it, but to each their own. As long as I don't have to be around them when they're smoking, I'm completely fine with it.

I don't really care. Smoking probably wont change my opinion on you, and if it does, it wont necessarily be good or bad. I've smoked enough other things to not really care.

I agree that it's stupid if you'll smoke outside when you're not alone. No one else wants to be breathing in the second-hand smoke, especially not me. It's really disgusting how people won't even care about others when they whip out their cigarette or whatever they're smoking when there are people around them. It was bad with my brother because he'd suffer allergic-like symptoms because he had other health complications. He'd get a shortness of breath whenever he'd breath it in, and that wasn't the worst of it. That's why I really dislike smokers. Not all, just most.
