So there was a fundraiser today that I volunteered to babysit at for community service hours. Now I hate children, but the only reason I did this was because my friends volunteered to accompany me and I really needed to seize the opportunity for hours. Friends ditched (damn flu season), so I was pretty much there by myself with a bunch of screaming, crying pissy children. Have you ever looked at someone and known you just freaking hate their guts? thats kind of what I went through when I saw this kid. He looked about 10 years old with the weirdest anime hair I've ever seen, sticking up everywhere. His shirt was like 3 sizes too big and he walked around like he owned the place. The kid was a hot ass mess. Activity time. Lets play hide and seek. Kid refuses to play. Now I would've been fine with that if he hadn't made all the other kids cry by telling the seeker where everyone was. Activity time. Lets build a birdhouse (wtf activity directors what were you thinking? giving the damn kids tools). Kid throws blocks of wood at other children, hits a kid in the nose and makes him bleed. Thats when I drew the line and told the kid he has to go to time out. This is pretty much where it all went even more downhill then it was before. He asked me to lean over so he could whisper something in my ear. Instead he takes my glasses off my face and spits in my face. I was like... Oh hell no. I, being an idiot, called the temperamental kid, with my $250 dollar ray bans, a moron. He threw them to the ground and snapped them by the nose. As a side note, for all you looking to buy Ray bans, just because they're made of plastic-like material doesn't mean they're super sturdy, I'll tell you that. Back to the story. So I pretty much flipped shi-. Shishkabob. I flipped shishkabob at this point and dragged the child to his dad. I took a couple of deep breaths and explained what had happend and handed him my broken glasses as proof. His child naturally denied everything. Guess who he believed? He started screaming at me "Why was I wasting his time?" "Why was I making up lies about his "Perfect angle" yada yada yada. I screamed back and vice versa. It pretty much ended when I told him he needs to learn how to take care of his kid, and I better get my $250 dollars for my Ray bans or I was going to sue his ass to kingdom come. He stormed off. Im pissed and want the $250 dollars I worked my ass off for.

LOL animals74 . well said. I kicked some 4th grader down a flight of stairs because i booked him trying to trip me when i was rushing down the stairs. I hate stupid, disobedient kids. then i went home after :$ and school called, but no one found out that i kicked him down. hawhawhaw

[/quote] What's the point of buying real things if you could get so much more out of the money I can afford 1 pair of REAL ray bands, but with that money I can get ~50 fakes ones that look the same and taht would last me longer. Heck I wouldn't even get 50 pairs of fake glasses, I would just get ONE and spend the rest on something else or SAVE it.

Let's all get spoiled kids faces and smash them into a wall. I had a similar experience. I had to babysit 20 rich children. They were REALLY SPOILED. One kid wouldn't shut up. He would run around and jump on me and spit on me. So I screamed at him and made fun of him and made him cry. Then I got in trouble. Then I almost got sued and had to apologize to the kid. Damn rich kids.

Oh boy, I know how you feel about your RayBans! I could relate to your story somewhat (without the spitting and breaking of RayBans) and it pushed me to a point where I had to be a mega youknowwhat to the kids. Also the reason why I quit that job.
