Night Lords drop on charts?

According to the Big Bang thread with all the new buffs and % of attack of everything, and through the excel chart that was provided on that thread, it shows that Nightlords are all the way at the bottom, and that f/p mages and i/l mages are above us. When i read that i was like WTH! Mages cannot be better bossers than night lords after BB. Can anyone tell me if i'm wrong and the night lord's still belong somewhere near the top of the dpm chart or that they are really dropping to the bottom of the charts.

See, the thing with the Balance Patch, is that it's supposed to balance the classes. That means that we're still likely gonna be up there for bossing, but same with all the other classes, and the damage gap won't likely be huge. I haven't even looked at a chart yet, but I'm sure that NLs aren't near the bottom for bossing. We won't be at the top, or even top-3, but I'm sure that we aren't near the bottom.

it's all funding funding and more funding, and you shouldn't group mages like that. like i said it is all funds, as of now my friend is a dedicated i/l mage and can solo bf in 5 minutes currently without the bb revamp, or a normal dex an easily outddo a dexless due to difference in %luk/all stats equips, the dps can be used as an "idea" of the differences in damage but in the end it all comes down to the individual him/herself . so instead of worrying about who's doing more damage, worry more about whether you will have enough funds to keep up with the rest :P

There's some facts that people don't think about either. 1) Venom works on bosses 2) Shadow Shifter gives us more time to attack instead of having to repot/being KB'ed. 3) TT goes through 15% of pdef Still, it's all about equips and fundings in the end.

What a class is about is based on how the player thinks. If you're satisfied with your character, that's all that matters. Also, please post the link to this DPS post-Big Bang Excel chart.

It's stickied on the frontpage with no question to its accuracy. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-KMS-Big-Bang-Revamp-333.html If you'll notice, he puts Dark Knights as using Sacrifice as their main attack. (If you have ever even TOUCHED a DK or looked on guides about one, you'll understand how stupid this is.) There is no way a mage's MOB attack can outdo Paladins, Bowmasters, Marksmen, Shadowers, Heroes, Nightlords, AND Arans. Arans were nerfed. However, Overswing was not one of those nerfs. Overswing was buffed, and being the main attack. With that being said, I call BS on his placing of Arans at rank 17 out of the 18 classes in his DPS chart. Arans are currently the second strongest in terms of single target damage, and even his chart was on mobs, Overswing hits 12. There is no longer any spammable attack that hits more than 6 targets at once, except for Overswing, which is meant to be a single target attack. NLs being nerfed is believable, but this is a whole different story. To make it worse there are no screenies of the formulas he used. I think either there's been a LOT of changes made that I'm not aware of or there's something wrong here. But don't take my word for it. I haven't and won't spend the time to research this throughly, and it's pretty much just my word for his. Just saying my view on things.

autumnazn actually it will be our main bossing attack (if u didn't know, sacrifice ignores defense, and after the patch, we lose a set amount of 11% hp per hit). Crusher will be our attack for mobs. So yes, it's going to be our main attack post bb.

well if it is counting per attack. how many more times do you think a NL is gonna attack before a mage can cast lets say 4 spells. 7 total? so i think it evens out. the numbers ur reading is only one factor of many. The tortoise does not always beat the hare.

Woah, no -%HP? What about Fury? I have a DK too, so I guess I'd better look up a bit if I want to get my skills set right. Still, something looks wrong. Did mages get their mob attack buffed so much? Did Arans really suffer so much? If the chart is on all targets, I can understand a 6 target move being up there... but that wouldn't explain why the 12 target Overswing is all the way at the bottom. If the chart is single target damage... well, it makes no sense. And why are Bishops last? Did they get any major buffs?

The only nerf as of now for Nightlords is the duration for Shadow Claw, and percentage for Ninjas and Taunt. Damage-wise, just about every job is buffed. Chart-wise, this is all hypothetical. One, there's no way in any correct mind, that a Corsair is underpowered by a DrK, and no way any A/M can overpower a Hero with our new damage/item standards. We'll see once the patch comes

|
iProxD : The only nerf as of now for Nightlords is the duration for Shadow Claw, and percentage for Ninjas and Taunt.
Are you sure? Because everything I'm looking at says the following: Shadow Claw Max. Current: 120 seconds. Post-BB: 180 seconds. Taunt Max. Current: +40% Drop rate, exp rate, monster defense. Post-BB: +40% Drop rate, exp rate, monster defense. Ninja Ambush max. Current: 100% damage for 12 secs, 200 range. Post-BB: Same as above, but 200% damage. xD |

Any stab / slash thing going with Sacrifice or is that gone too? And yeah, this chart is pretty weird. Mobbers get higher single target DPS than single target attackers.
