Just wondering, but what do you actually get out of this, other than SAT experience. I see people studying for it already :| Sophomorebtw

People study for the PSAT? lol Well, you get a score, so if you already score high on the PSAT you don't have to worry about overstudying. I think it's pretty useful. My SAT score was a little higher than my PSAT score, but in the same range.

And standardized tests do not reflect intelligence, it just tells you how well you can perform in a test taking situation.

You can qualify for National Merit Scholarships if you get a high enough score on the PSAT. I got a 221 last year (miraculously), but didn't qualify because I was a sophomore. Taking it again this year, although I'll be peeved if I do worse. :<

Its really not worth it. Waste of time, it really did not help me prepare for my SAT. And I would recommend the ACT > SAT, it's easier.
