10 years left of one piece?

I just read something on Mangastream, and it said Oda said the hiatus is only half way point of one piece. ^__^ That was 10 years. So, I'm guessing the other half is 10 years too ^__^.

well since before now they haven't even gotten to the grand line or w/e, i guess it makes sense that its only halfway. hopefully the second half will be just as awesome/even better than the first half

But the first ten years consisted of his gathering of his crew mates, each having their own arc, basically. Now that they're all separated and training their hardest to better themselves, I don't think they will be adding many more members to the crew. It'll probably focus more on the primary objective of getting to one piece now, with only the battles and such in between rather than the past behind each individual member. It might not be 10 years. Although it'd be cool if it was. ^^

Everyone says that One piece is awesome so i plan on watching this show, Can someone tell me how long it would take to catch up?(Assuming i watch show after show 24/7) :x

Perhaps... You never know what's gonna happen. But logically speaking, it'll continue for another 10 years. Which brings me to one of the few annoyances in One Piece: they make everything so darn long. It often get's quite tedious and makes me think "just continue with the story already!". I started watching a few months back and I caught up last week. I didn't watch it everyday though. Sometimes there were weeks between watching episodes.

Good luck lol. That's one of the reasons people don't want to start watching/reading one piece. Other then that stuff like water 7/CP9 where like "WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END!"

[/quote] The episodes themselves are about 20 minutes long, so let's assume 3 episodes per hour. 24 hours in a day * 3 episodes = 72 episodes a day. One Piece has 467 episodes atm, so that would be like 6.5 days. Not including movies. OT: ONE PIECE FTW! :D I do hope they can speed things up, though; they're dragging things out too much. =/

I have been reading "Hajime no Ippo" for a while, because "One Piece" was my new Anime. @DrunkenD3mon, it took me about 5-6 days to re-read it all again, from chapter 1. that wast about 4-5 hours each day? i read really fast, so i guess thats it.

[/quote] I found the Arabasta arc the most annoying regarding that. Then comes Skypiea. Water 7/CP9 arc was pretty well, only annoying thing was the 3 episode flashback of Robin's youth and the constant flashback of them. And the constant stair scenes with her and Spandam.
