Hello guys. I was wondering 2 things 1st) after BB which is more powerful (in general: mob 1v1 partying bossing etc.) overall 2nd) WHich would be more expensive? And by that i mean like getting a end game weapon which: would be for aran a arcglaive (nicely scrolled) and a ele wand/staff 1/5 (this would also include pot burn other equip (im a maker guy) etc.

dpm wise evans are better later levels, and they have earthquake (which i ks my aran friend so hard with at gallos.) I would say if you really wanted an elestaff 5 they are hella expensive and arans might be cheaper.

After BB, they're pretty dang equal. Evan>Aran on 1v1, Evan>Aran on small mobs, Aran>Evans on big mobs.

O.k now i got a sence of both their power but ehat about their game play style? Which is better In your opition (it it IYO?) spamming one skill like breath to kill mob then a 1vs1 skill to finish or spamming ctrl and a variation of arrows kill nothing is moving in your way? Let me know whats yOUR opition of it. It should help me a lot.

Avoiding whatever bias I can, I pick aran in terms of gameplay. Evan's got really boring for me and I made it to 56. Sure there were more skills after but I didn't have fun just commanding my dragon to attack. And with them attacking slow I really couldn't take it. Aran is much faster and you kinda have to stay on your toes when attacking, figuratively speaking. Evan I could just stay far away enough and still attack. I'm more of a jump in head first player.

I was thinking a bit the same. Aran got speed and nice game play but damage wise, it is evan that win. I just got an idea of making a battle mage as a conpromis (idk word in englih its french look it up for meaning)... Im still unsure... I hate new classes.. too much choice...

Arans were boring to me and hurt my hands Evans on the other hand were fun and I got mine to 161 before i stopped for db

umm arans have one of the lowest dpm's after bb compared to other classes...im not biased because my only account is an aran.... maybe u seen vids of godly aran damage after BB, but that i can guarantee is because of funding...although, arans r fun to play with and have a unique game play...evens r more of the same stuff....if ur looking for damage, go DB/ NL, corsoir....if fun then do aran...

bowmannoob most people who put up Bvids r 150-200 which they mostly all have pretty good funding..

[/quote] Videos are an unreliable source, because you don't know the fundings of the characters. If you would fund ANY job good enough, it can be able to hit awesome damage (yes even Bishops, I saw one hitting 700k with Angel Ray on 4 mobs).

With both classes properly funded (Without trying to seem like a 'classist' d-bag) I THINK Evans are better in every way. Evan > Aran on bosses (damage) and 1v1 (Illusion) Evan > Aran in training (Earthquake being a spammable 'mini-ultimate' Evan > Aran in small mobs (FW+EQ) Evan > Aran in bigger mobs (FW+EQ still?) Aran > Evan in speed Aran > Evan in bosses (that need pinning or fast KBs) I'm not 100% sure, but this is what I've gathered from DPM charts and vids. As for cost, Arans and Evans will be equally expensive. End Game for Aran = Crimson Arcglaive or Purple Surfboard (<LOL) End Game for Evan = Elemental Wand 5 or Elemental Staff 5 (<LOL) If you're going to choose between the two, don't make it be because of funding. Choose a class you'll have fun with regardless of the ups and down.
