Help with Homecoming

Well I thought I'd never make a thread like this but... So I'm on the school tennis team and we went on an away game two days ago. There was this new girl to the school and she was an exchange student from Germany for a year. I ended up talking to her the whole time back from the tennis game and she was really cool. Our Homecoming dance is this Saturday and do you guys think it'd be weird if I asked her to it? That bus ride was the only time I've actually talked to her and I don't see her during school. I just want to see what you guys think of it and then I'm going to text her friend.

Well she didn't talk too much but it'd probably because she couldn't speak english very well. She laughed at a lot and smiled if that means anything I won't have much time to talk to her more because I only play tennis on Mondays and Wednesdays. So if I do ask her I'll have to do it then
