Profil3's getting an update.

http://www.profil3.com "Profil3.com is being upgraded and moved to a new server. Unfortunately this will take some time. Please try again soon" And Mr B said he wasn't going to work on Profil3 anymore... You think he's bringing it back to basil? I'm excited if he is. discuss. edit: owait i think this belongs in site talk, mods move it please lul.

it just says it's being upgraded, for me it doesn't say anything about a server change and it's possible that he would put it back on basil, although i think he realized that people could do pretty much whatever they wanted on profil3 and then have it sync with their basilmarket bypassing the rules we have on this site. so i doubt that he's vry excited about that. i also don't understand why you or anyone else would be excited about profil3's return. in my experience of using it, i would try to talk to some people, and just plain stopped getting any responses because nobody wanted to use it after it was disconnected from basilmarket. and then i pretty much gave up on it too. which in my mind basically proved that the purpose it should have served wasn't actually being fulfilled, aka making friends with people outside of basil. most people just cared about it because they wanted thousands of views on profil3 or some other ridiculous thing like that. so ya. that's my opinion.

it was always pretty pointless, just a lackluster facebook attached to Basil. sure it's better if you're really uptight about adding online people on fb but that's about it.

[/quote] profil3 is a friend making site i don't think that everyone who makes a facebook/myspace wants attention, profil3 is just another facebook, but for the basil community and yeah basil has become unfriendly and stuff, but it always was, and removing profil3 made it worse, at least we can talk to people again if he brings it back it's pretty pointless for the people who already have a fb yeah, but i don't have one so i'm excited
