Maplestory current even bonus exp per hour

You know how you get bonus exp per hour? like 150% for first hour 200% if you been on for another hour and so on. (not sure if it's 150% or 200% it was just for example) What happens if i log off? Do i just have to have MS open? Can i switch characters?

it's character based. if you log off your char, either when switching cars or going off maple, it goes poof and you gotta wait 5 hours to get 200% again.

if u log off, u have to start again and no u cant switch characters
