I can't do them. Since weapons are a big part of MS, I'd like to actually learn to draw them... The thing is, whenever I draw a dagger or a sword or any bladed weapons, they all end up in the same angle. Does anyone have a tip/tutorial? Don't tell me to search it in dA, because a majority of those are coloring tutorials.

you mean perspective? I don't know you just make stuff wider as it gets closer toward you you could start out with basic shapes and learn the outline and then add detail or weapons in general? I just use my imagination

Mostly the perspective/angle of them. I mean, I guess I could use an actual knife for reference... They all end up pointing sideways so that you can see the whole blade, like I could not draw a knife pointing straight forward or tilted at an angle to save my life.
cheesie : well the bottom half of this might help
That is HUGE o_o
Ramunesun : blade length?
This will help you. But really, you just need a grasp on regular perspective to know how to do it properly.

The hard part about art is not drawing. It's seeing.

It might take time, but google pictures of weapons, and choose one that you see is in a good angle. Or maybe, look at characters/people with the weapons in hand. Or pausing youtube videos in epic battle scenes. Example? o_o

aznpudding03 you gotta practice a lot. It's one of those things that a lot of people can do, but few people can master. A lot of people use some over exaggerated perspective and foreshortening. [a lot of comics do this, naruto for one] I've been doing foreshortening for over five years and there are still a lot of times where it's hard to get subtle angles and have it not look awkward.

Oh no, I realize that practice is a big factor. I looked at some of my drawings from last summer and they were kind-of-really-ugly.

perspective is hard I'm struggeling with it myself, I just hate drawing all these shapes and lines and grid and everything they use in the tutorials...
