[/quote] Yea, but the balls are identical & they will fall at the same velocity and the acceleration is the same too, so the one thrown at an angle will stay higher for a little bit longer. Above That's true because if you throw it at an angle > 90 it will be suspended in the air for a little bit before coming back down (negative gravity) |

| I remember my teacher doing a demonstration. He used a machine that shot one ball vertically down and another was kicked horizontally (180 degrees) at the same speed. Both balls hit the ground at the same time, so whats this about being suspended in the air longer? |
