How does the potential system work?

 | Hey guys, I just have a quick question about the potential system. How does it work? Sorry if it's a noob question, but I quit MS for half a year, and I just recently started playing again. So here are some of my questions. 1) Does everything have potential? 2) How do you know if it has potential or not? 3) Where do you get the magnifying glasses? 4) Cubes = ? Also, how do "enhancements" work? Are they the same as scrolling an item, but it doesn't use up a slot? Anyways, thanks in advance for all your help! Btw, L> literate friends in Bera |

| 1) Everything CAN have potential, it's a matter of if you use a potential (70% of success) or advanced potential scroll on it (90% success). But you can find random hidden potential items from monster drops too. 2) Once obtained, it will have a red square around it and it tells you to reveal the potential by using a magnifying glass. 3) You can find them from major town potion shop NPCs. 4) Miracle Cubes are NX items worth 1.2K NX that reset the potential, giving you the chance for better stats. The more you cube it, the better it gets, because it can never get worse (In terms of tiers, Rare is lowest, Epic is middle and the best type of item is Unique.) Enhancement scrolls can be used on scrolled items with 0 slots left. It will add a certain amount of stats IF successful (for a weapon, it can add 3 W.ATT). But if it fails, then the item will blow up. If one works, and you want to scroll it again, the success rate lowers by 10% and so on. |

| I think random monsters drop them (as well as equip enhancement scrolls and chaos scrolls I believe) but I know of one way to get regular and advanced potential scrolls by miracle cubes. Every time you use one, it will give you a Miracle Cube fragment, and if you collect 5 you can trade it in for a potential scroll and 10 for an advanced potential scroll. http://global.hidden-street.net/search_finder/potential It shows some of the monsters that drop potential scrolls but I don't really know for the 90% ones. :/ |
