Extremely annoying lag? - BasilMarket Forum

I recently joined MSEA and I'm from Australia so I have access to only the Singapore gateway. It's extremely laggy for me though, even Singapore and Australia are relatively close. There's always a 1-2 second delay when i'm picking things up, which makes it REALLY annoying for me because I pick everything up since I'm a new player, and I don't have funding. I play GMS as well, and it's never laggy when I play except when the servers are overcrowded or there's something wrong with the game. The gap between Australia and the US is waaaay bigger than the gap between Singapore and Australia, so I was wondering why there's such a big lag here. It's really irritating

Its because of a Ping issue due to you being not located in that region :P I dont have it Since im pretty close to SG and MY. Stick to GMS!

Some regions of Australia don't even have access to the Singapore region of SEA. A clear indication you're playing the wrong version of Maplestory.

Don't be a racist please. OT: If the latency is really that bad, either make the your com processing speed faster, or get a faster connection, or avoid playing MSEA altogether. OTher than that, we hope you'll enjoy the gameplay there, it's more peaceful at the moment.

It should be called NAMS. -.- How sure are you that NAMS is friendlier than MSEA. True, some people are rude and most use broken English, but at least we don't have crazy people policing bosses and dcing you just for a shop lot in the FM. SEA is multi-racial. Some people migrate you know. I see plenty of tourists here. Some of them may have registered for a citizenship and can play MSEA. your last few words: You say some people are annoying, but I found you annoying saying "as in MSEA and sht". [/quote] Err... What? OT: MSEA was not originally made for Oceania, so you might have to face lag issues. NAMS on the other hand, used to be for global, so they probably aren't as laggy internationally.

Care to explain before degrading us asians? Oh and f.y.i, the creators of Maplestory are KOREANS. So why bother playing the game when you find us ASIANS as a whole annoying?

Maybe you should try EMS? but IDK if you can play GMS just fine then do it i use to play MSEA at one time before IP banned's it had nice people but play which ever you like best ~

That's the main reason why I tried MSEA. I think i'm IP blocked from EMS since i'm from Australia.

If you think that D/C hack in GMS is annoying. If you think that lagging in MSEA is annoying. If you cant access EMS due to IP block. Play something other than MapleStory. Games are supposed to fun, don't them?
