rapid fire vs hurricane in speed

how fast is rapid fire compared to hurricane? i think i heard somewhere that they have the same dpm? but rapid fire is 200% at max and hurricane is 100%...

Hurricane is better DPS wise. That's why we have the boat.

Exactly the same speed, but BM have higher damage range and they have SE. Corsairs have cannon which is destroy everything in its path.

The difference is that Bowmasters can crit on a Hurricane arrow for much more damage than they can normally. While Corsairs have 100% non-crit bullets, which do slightly more than a bowmaster non-crit, but significantly less than a bowmaster crit.

Yeh wot every1 else has been saying BUT...! Rapid fire looks cooler and it doesnt have that loading time (When u press ur hurricane hotkey, it takes like 1-2 secs to start shooting), it shoots right away

I automaticly shoot 8.33 arrows per second when I press the key.

just to point out, RF has a much much higher base than Hurricane, ex - 200% then bullseye 20% after you do total % calculations. however, that does not make up for the crit dmg. the speed is exactly the same.

[/quote] oh so it's the crit that makes hurricane stronger. but with a bm's base crit + SE and crit ring it's 65% crit rate? and sairs are only stronger using rapidfire 35% of the time? o.o

I bet that if batttleship, cannon & torp didn't exist, you would all find a way to belive they're similar, I personally belive there's no difference between those attacks, even with bm's crits, but since there's something better than rf for corsairs, you don't see it that way.

BlazeLeo with base crit SE and etc etc etc, hurricane dmg comes out to be something like 350% per arrow. multiply that by 8.33 and you get 2915.5% per second. Compared to RF which is like 2100% or something with crit ring + bullseye (too lazy to do the math but if i remember correctly its something like that). but of course, the dmg will be closer once u factor in SE or Thorns with RF, which will happen in most party bossing situations. but still not as high as hurricane.
