I am stuck between a few possible professions.

One part of my mind tells me, "I should be a writer! I have amazing writing talent, and language arts is your strongest subject! Another part says, "Screw that, be a photographer! You take amazing photography and have a $1200 camera already!" The last part says, "You could be a scientist, think of the possiblities, and the field is opening up to more types of fascinating research, such as stem cells and genetically modified foods!" I have to choose a specialized school to go to and apply for by January, and I want to write my resum� soon. Does anyone have any advice to help me choose which field? If anyone cares enough to leave a profession based off a combination of these, then I will be interested in the opinions. Thank you in advance. By the way, if anyone is interested enough to PM me, I'll give them a sample of my writing if they choose.

I'm against GMO's genetically modified organism. I think its totally immoral that mess with natures creations the way they were intended... I would say combine the first two. Both are great passions.

Study science. If you ever change your mind about it, you can still switch to the other two. you don't need a degree to show you're good at writing/photography.

Consider getting a job for all three of these. With the economy and all. Not many photographers make it big, like showbiz. Also how many writters are out there trying to make a name for themselfs? science is the way to go. Ofcourse you can say if you belive and might get lucky crap. but im just thinking?

[/quote] a science writer with his own photography? maybe a writer with my own photography, but i really dont want to incorporate science if i take all my own pictures...

I can relate to you. Only thing is, I'm not that into photography... I'm stuck between wanting to become a writer, or to become a scientist and invent a crapload of stuff, or someone who works with computers, makes movies, and stuff like that. I think...you should go with writer.

Learn more about each profession, as it doesn't really seem that you have an in-depth knowledge of what each entails. Perhaps take some beginning classes in a couple fields, see how it feels.
