How many people actually moved out at age 18 (or earlier)?

Okay, so I see a lot of people saying they're moving out of their parents' house when they're 18, but I've not known many people to actually do that. I, myself, am 18, and I do not plan on moving out for a few more years. I'm in college at the moment, and like having the ease of living in my parents' house and not having to worry about extra bills, as well as being close to school. So, how many people actually moved out when they were 18? Do people actually stick to that promise or what?

I moved from OKC to California to go to school for college -- I won't say its "Oh so dandy" or "Man It's so good to be away from the parents". When i came down from OKC to Cali, first things my friends told me was "Welcome to Cali jordan! Today starts ur independance! It sucks!" Definately does suck -- but has its benefits.

The only friends i have that moved out at 18, were kicked out. I just moved out a couple months ago at age 20. And I moved in with my sister to help her out with some things.

im 16 and when i hit 18 ima move out faster than i can pack dont care where i go cause if i stay any longer i will kill either my mom or my dad normally people move out casue of thair parents

I didn't "move out" until I was 20, but even so, my parents still pay for my rent, tuition, etc
