Worrying about my Major and my Minor

OK so Im in sec IV and I need to start thinking about what I want to Major and Minor in. Im a classicaly trained violinist been playing 4 years. Should I minor in music? I hear Musicians have a hard life... But Im also considering culinary school. What do you guys think. My Dad thinks that Im lucky that I get the oppertunity to worry about this. So Im open to suggestions. Why did you pick what you did?

Well, im starting community college tomorrow so i don't have to worry about my major till i move to a university in a few years. I would go with whatever interests you, even if it doesn't pay as much. If you're doing something you love you will be happier than doing something you hate, even if you make more money.

I'm majoring in Psychology, East Asian Studies and Economics. I chose Psychology because I'm truly interested in how people's thought process work. Imo, it's one of the most entertaining subjects out there. I chose East Asian Studies because I wanted to learn more about my native homeland, China. Also, I might work in China at some point in the future, so it'd be beneficial having a general knowledge about the place and its surrounding areas. I chose Economics because I want to a pursue a career in that particular field. I plan on working for two years after college, and then going to grad school to get an MBA. I want to do investment banking in the future, while being a financial adviser as a side job. Personally, I think you'll be fine with whichever major you pick. Unless you're doing premed where you need to take a set of classes, or apply to certain graduate schools that require classes, just go with what you want. Despite telling you what I want to do with my majors, I might do none of that. I have toyed with the idea of going premed so I can be a psychiatrist in the future. I have also thought about applying to law school and finding a job as an immigrant lawyer. If I'm almost done with college, and I still don't know what I truly want to do, I'm sure you'll turn out fine. My point is that as you go through college, you will figure out what you want to do. For the time being, however, don't worry about it and just enjoy yourself.

I dont have "College" We call it Cegep and its right after Sec V thats 2 years then I go to university. Its really hard for me to choose because Im one of those people who are good in more than one thing and have been reccomended to go into multiple things. Ill probably Major In something Sciencey and Minor in something music. Thanks for all your input.
