So I was wondering if bb patch affect mages (make their luk play a more important role) does it affect any other classes like fighters going for hero or arans?

I believe the secondary stat is just for wearing equips, not affecting accuracy. I'm not sure, though.

For mages, luk affects damage 1/4 as much as int does, which is exactly how every other class in the game will be (primary stat is 4x as effective as secondary). However, magic attack will function similarly to weapon attack - meaning a little magic attack can be better than a lot of int. So the primary function of luk (or any secondary stat) will be to equip higher level weapons with more attack. For mages that can use elemental wands, or other classes that can get their hands on a VIP weapon though, luk isn't as important for getting more weapon attack. However, higher level potential equips can give stats that outweigh the cost of luk. So: If you have the funding to get potential equips, low luk (or low stat) is pretty much the way to go. The exception being warriors, that can apparently pretty easily go completely dexless with little trouble.
