It seems that everything is coming back into friction again. If you are not a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, try listen to my recap: Recap oh Kingdom Hearts Once upon a time, there was the Kingdom Hearts universe. The universe is made up of many "worlds," which, in a sense, are universes in of itself, but miniature. The main gameplay of Kingdom Hearts is to travel these worlds while on quests. Many of these worlds are based off of Disney movies, and the series usually incorporates the storyline of the movie into the world-focused plot (i.e. you must save Cinderella by defeating "X" monster). Now, the main character of the series, Sora (which means "sky" in Japanese), is on a world with his two friends, Kairi ("sea") and Riku ("earth" in Japanese). At the start of the first game, Sora and his friends want to leave their home world, or Destiny Islands, in search of other worlds that are much more exciting than their peaceful islands. Riku's wish to do so endangers and destroys the entire island by asking for the power of "darkness." Now, Kingdom Hearts has many themes, some of which is "light vs. darkness, light and darkness, and hearts, souls, and bodies." While Riku gives in to "the darkness" to obtain power and excitement, Sora becomes the "hero of light." Wielding a complicated weapon called the "Keyblade," (named so because it actually looks like a key, and because it has many metaphorical properties), Sora goes to battle darkness. This weapon is unique because it has special properties. The light in Kingdom Hearts often manifests as people, while the darkness manifests as monsters and villains. In the first game, it manifests itself as "the Heartless," creatures that looks as if they are formed out of shadow. They are called "Heartless" because it seems that all they feed off of is "people's hearts." The basic monster of the Heartless is called a "Shadow," and the Heartless provides the armies of monsters you encounter throughout the game. Now, back to the story. Riku gives himself to the darkness, causing Sora to discover his ability with the Keyblade and causing a huge Heartless called "Darkside" to arise. Destiny Islands is destroyed, and Riku goes to join powers with the darkness, while Sora is left in a world called Traverse Town. And so goes the quest. Sora teams up with Donald and Goofy (who come from Disney Castle, another world) on a quest to battle darkness and to find King Mickey, who has gone missing. Riku, in the meanwhile, meets up with the witch Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty, who controls the darkness (and, in extension, the Heartless). Riku is willing to serve Maleficent and and become her pawn in exchange for a "dark" Keyblade and more power over darkness. Riku is revealed to be the "chosen one" of the Keyblade, but because he gave his heart to the darkness, the Keyblade chose Sora. And many other complicated things happen. Riku gets possessed by the Heartless of a strong person named Xehanort who discovered and embrace

Nice theory of KH III. But there's still something else. In BBS there's a Xehanort report in which Master Xehanort states that, when Ventus was "dying", he took him to Destiny Islands; the place where he (Master Xehanort) grew up... What's up with that?

[/quote] Ventus used to be Xehanort's apprentice which he found weak. Xehanort extracted the darkness within Ventus' heart then left him there. Is that what you wanted?

In that Xehanort report, Master Xehanort clearly states that he brought Ventus there to die. "What better place to let him die than the island where I grew up..." or something along those lines.

I'm predicting that they'll make an MMORPG of Kingdom Hearts soon. Did you see how many Keyblades were there during Birth By Sleep? They once had a wielder, but who was it?

[/quote] That was the site of the Keyblade Wars long ago where many keyblade wielders fought each other to obtain the X-Blade.

[/quote] Sora was supposed to have a chainsaw instead of Keyblade when Nomura first introduced Kindom Hearts to his co-workers. He replaced the chainsaw with a Keyblade though, so it would lower the age rating.
