HolyMythosWell, it's a combination of my dream and what happened after. I watched the movie Devil last night (the elevator one) so it had a little impact on my dream but not much until the end. In my dream I had been golfing (I don't golf) when all of a sudden things started feeling weird and I fainted. When I fainted, I woke up in my room (out of my dream) and there were people in my room. They were all motionless and they say anything. Some far away and some right in front of my face. Then I fell back asleep. Now I woke up from surgery in my dream and I found out that I was dying of some disease. There was a party for some reason in celebration of me living (even though I was dying?) and all of my friends were there. Then I was in some giant IHOP where a bunch of kids put cake on me. I had to go over to people I work with and tell them why cake was all over me and then I went to go shower to wash it off. I woke up again from the dream. I was in my room again and there were more lifeless beings in my room. Still couldn't see their faces, just able to make out that they were there, and they were floating this time and they had a scarier shape to them. Like they were less human. I fell back asleep after about half a minute of just staring them down. I was jumping around like spiderman around the outside of a haunted house. I walk into the house and i'm at my moms work. There's a woman there who needs me to help her find a football in one of the back rooms. I'm wearing a baby monitor hooked on to my pants. The monitor starts making noises and it starts getting extremely dark in the room. I hear the woman complaining on how she feels worthless because she can't find the football in the dark. There's a baby crying on the monitor still. I go to feel around for the football and I'm saying "I'm sure it's around here somewhere" when I feel something warm. It's pitch black in the room now. I start feeling up this thing in the dark and notice that it had a head and mouth. That's when the girl says "It's ELEVATOR MAN!" The thing rushes at me and pins me up against the other girl and he keeps running into me. I was screaming at the top of my lungs in the dream when I woke up. In the middle of my room was just one of those silent motionless being things and it was the guy that was just in my dream. He was staring at me. Then I "woke up" again and I was in my room just like normal and i could hear my mom outside of my room doing whatever she does on Friday mornings. I'm crying while I type this up I'm so scared. I just figure if I talk it out it'll become irrational and I'll calm down. But it was just so real and the fact that the inbetween of my dreams was so real like I was really awake it makes me feel as if these things were actually in my room. I've been up for 20 minutes and I'm still crying.

i once experienced sleep paralysis where i had the sensation that the building i was living in was collapsing. i could only open my eyes halfway and could not move any body parts. i seriously felt like i was going to die. only to fully wake up 5 seconds later. OT: woke up from a dream , woke up from a dream .... again i woke up from a dream WE MUST GO DEEPER EDIT : i never recall my self sleeping and not having a nightmare. i had countless nightmare similar to yours , only worse. only to wake up at 4am. traumatized to sleep again. the one that affected me the most to the point where i confused dream from reality is when i dreamt of me and my mom driving me to get some lunch. she dropped me off at the diner so she could find a parking spot while i got a seat. she never returned and i went home . only to find out that she is dead and was involved in an accident. when i woke up , i began to tear up and i immediately went to look for my mom. i could only find my brother sleeping in his room. my mom should be home on a saturday morning, so i called her cell and the greatest releif i ever felt was to hear her voice.

If you made that up, that's an awesome story. But if that really happened, that would kinda freak me out. I kinda like scary dreams though, I mean, I've never had one that serious before, but I think it might be fun...at least for me. Suck you got that scared though.

ThreadStarter No one ever remembers their dreams. There's definitely something wrong with you.Feel the horrror overcome you this instance, you want to scream, but you can't scream.Your life continues forever, where you wake up from dreams to find yourself in a dream. Feel the horror. Feel the horror. Don't turn your back. Close your eyes, don't ever wake up from the dream, as it'll only get worse. I think you have this infectious, horrifying disease, beyond identification. Don't infect anyone else, the whole world is in your hands. Close your eyes, and just keep dreaming, you are dreaming right now. Feel the horror...

whoa. that nightmare was pretty deep. Yeah, who knows if you actually woke up or you were waking up in your own dream? lolnaw.. you probably dreamed that you woke up. If you keep having the same dream over and over.. then that's a problem. that movie was too much for you.

Ugh dude this one nightmare I had, there was a mirror on the floor in my room and I was staring at it waiting for something to happen for like ten minutes straight, and then this hand came out and grabbed my leg and I woke up. I couldn't scream or anything because I had no voice, and my leg was burning where I had been grabbed in the dream. I was so scared I slept with my mom that night and it was a whole week before I slept in my room again.

That may be traumatizing for you, but I'll take your nightmare over some of mine. I've had a fair amount of incredibly vivid dreams, where things become progressively worse. Most tend to involve incredible violence being inflicted upon someone, or me stumbling upon corpses. I think in one such dream it went from me losing my job and freaking out on my boss, to me being trapped in a room full of giant roaches and it just went downhill from there. I've had several dreams where I was in the process of dying, and woke up just as it would have happened. Also had one that I can't remember, but I woke up shouting at the top of my lungs, angry, afraid; and my leg hurt for the rest of the night tho I didn't find anything wrong with it (no marks, discoloring, nothing). I hate nightmares. >.> Also, have had those nightmares within nightmares, and sleep paralysis. Which really sucks when you're in a dark, quiet house, alone.
M0neyJ4cker : i dont think a person can memorize all that
It's easy to remember the whole dream if you know how, har. Once you wake up, empty your mind of anything. Don't think about what you have to do today, don't think about getting out of bed to take a shower etc. Find what woke you up, and gradually trace back. Do it quickly. Simply put, dreams are filtered out as random junk in your brain, pointless, random memories. That's why you have to go over your dream to put it in your short term memory. Remembering your dreams is the first part of lucid dreaming, by the way.
