halo reach on legendary alone

so is is it just me or is halo reach on legendary ridiculous ive played about 10-12 hours and im at the begginning of level 8 anyone else find the elites completely overpowered compared to what halo 3's brutes were? Anyways share your own experiences.

I couldn't get past mission 5, Heroic on the other hand is super easy compared to it.

Im waiting to do legendary when my cousin comes over. Im going through it on heroic for now and its not too bad. Im really hoping legendary is gonna give us that halo 1 legendary challenge where the elites took like all the sniper rifles rounds to kill one.

[/quote] Well they get hurt, go into overshield, then have a lot of HP after you take that down. So, probably health like that or greater.

[/quote] well as of now after another 2 hours im near the end of mission 8 yaaayyyy. i didnt even bother with heroic considering the huge amount of G im gonna rake in at the end and that awesome carter helm and maybe some unlockables in the armoury if im lucky

I spend a little over an hour for each mission. So far I've finished 4/9 levels.

It took me around 45 mins for each mission on Heroic. Haven't tried legendary, but if it's as hard as you say I'll be really happy then actually made it LEGENDARY again.

I literally just completed it solo then. Trust me, every time i saw an elite, i died a little inside. It's about one whole DMR clip to the head to take their shield down alone. And on the last mission, when making your way to the cannon [not elaborating], you need to kill 6 elites in a small room, all with overshields, and half have those green-plasma-launchers. I'm happy its over, too much combat. Side note: Camping and DMR headshot sniping across maps is the only way to play this successfully.
