The Official Xbox 360 controller with Vinditcus THREAD!

Hello all im AJ Many of you heard me QQing over vinditcus and xbox 360 controller so i decided to figure out how to do it one my own and it works and its AWESOME! What you need -xbox 360 controller (Idk if wireless works I never tried im using) Madcatz wired controller (it needs to be able to usb connect to computer/laptop -Xbox 360 controller progam: Pinnacle game profiler Xpadder might work also I haven't tried i will update when I do thank you for recommending it. -Vindicus game( DL it on nexon site if u haven't already) -and lastly another set of these becuase that will be u after u are playing with xbox 360 controller. Step 1 Download and install the program (it will ask to restart your computer when completed please do so) have xbox controller plugged in DUH Step 2 when the your computer comes back on and after you decided that you wanna change your desktop picture to this because your desktop picture sucks lets be honest. click on the pinnacle games icon (big blue "P" you can't miss it) set up your config which is really easy if you need more help watch this video ignore what it says about combat arms ive tried it and it doesn't work. Step 3 after you are able to move your mouse around by using a anolog stick with your controller open vinditcus (I use mouse to do this part) go to options (make sure "mouse settings" is selected) then go to "advanced options" click on "xbox 360" i left these settings alone but you can change if you want now click 'apply" then ok now use your mouse to click start game. Controls -updated- my buttons are and yours should be if you didnt change anything Left trigger = Strong attack rigght trigger = fast attack/also click left anolog = move around right analog= mouse/camera view select = esc/enable mouse/disable mouse for camera view Left button= nothing right button = nothing x= dash backwards A= chat (open up chatbox so you can type stuff) B= nothing but you can change it to Humpty dance :P Y=Displays things your charecter can pick up/interact with control pad= when I click up on it the game said my charterer swung his sword in the air and it said "no party members to revive" UPDATE Control pad = the reason it said this because I used the "feather" item that was on slot 3 of my items thing so im guess control pad = command slots which is really helpful. [/quote] the pad might be for that you can try configuring it I guess. and kick = strong attack aka left trigger. Guide on how to use PS3 controllers OT: Gratz on finding a way on how to use an Xbox controller :D but because I constantly crash, I'm probably not considering the controller anymore o_o well, Vindictus' processing AND using a controller takes a lot of energy and my Laptop cannot handle it :P. And This guide is kinda choppy, but it's okay. Btw are you using the Mouse and Keyboard or Keyboard settings? Last but not least, my IGN is Swords, Eastern server.

Mouse and keyboard (I advise all to use this setting because I tried "just keyboard + controller = no go) also idk how to do the blue header thing. and I will add ur ign.

Blue header: xxxxx[./header] Remove the . • = [.*] Remove the . :] and if you're NOT using controllers, I reccomend Mouse+Controller, Although I don't really like clicking for attacking :P.

[/quote] Thanks I will try the header thing but, if you are using a controller click on mouse + keyboard because I guess the settings fit perfectly with the controller (mouse = right anonlog). and I think pinnacle game works with PS3 controllers also BTW turning on vindicus now to update the controls.

I got a wired controller made for pc will it work o.o it has everything a xbox one has and it worked with like Hobbet, and WoW

Wireless 360 controllers don't work. They can. Never substitute for wired. I'll come back to this page on my birthday when I can actually get another controller. *bookmarked*

[/quote] Although I haven't tried Pinnacle, I can say that Xpadder is very easy and handy to use and I can definitely recommend it. And a wireless controller should work if you have the USB-reciever thingy for it. Which is a complete rip-off, seeing as it's nearly the same price as a wired controller. �.� And why would you wet yourself when you play it with a 360 controller? o.O
