Another Girl Dilemma. Not a I-don't-have-courage story.

Okay, so there's this girl who I met a little bit over two weeks ago. And of course, I've grown to like her. I don't get nervous around her like I did around the last girl (First actual non-Elementary school crush) I liked. I have no idea who she likes, she says she doesn't like anyone yet, since we're all new to this high school. However, I think she likes this funny guy who she's helping run for Co-pres. I'm pretty cool with that, cause I like him as a friend, too. Anyway, I was wondering if I should ask her to Homecoming or not if she doesn't have a date by the time, although she probably will go with Mason. (Funny dude) I also think it would be weird that I told her I liked her since we've known each other for such a short amount of time and I also don't want to ruin our friendship since we've recently been talking and texting for hours and hours non-stop. What should I do, Basil, what should I do? Edit: I'm not attractive and I'm fat (Not really visible except for man boobs, but either way, it's a turn off.) and she's extremely beautiful in my opinion. However, we were talking about superficiality of nerds (Our school is a nerd school) and she said that she liked guys' personalities and humor. She also said I'm "hilarious" and she makes me laugh so much. Edit2: I just want Basil's advice because I don't think most of my close friends'll take me seriously and I don't want to tell them about it yet. Edit3: Does eye contact play any part in a relationship? Edit4: If a girl doesn't text you first, what does it mean? Edit5: How do you get/ask a girl to say who she actually likes? I'm pretty sure when girls say "I don't like anyone.", they're probably lying. Edit6: September 20th, 6:32 AM: Last night, we were talking and we somehow got back to the subject of liking. I told her that I'd tell her and she said only if I wanted to. Then I asked my greatest best friend if I should tell her and he said I should since she said that she wouldn't laugh or judge me if I did. So I told her. She said she wasn't surprised and I said it was a bit obvious and that she respected me for saying it instead of her hearing it from other people. This already meant she does not like me. Then she asked if things were gonna be awkward between us and she hoped that it wouldn't (She rides my bus and I have to sit beside her for about 15 minutes at least before we can switch seats.) and I said that I hope that it wouldn't be awkward between us. Then, she asked if she could tell certain people and I said I don't care, then some minutes later she asked me if she could tell one of her best friends who doesn't go to my school and I said "Yeah, sure, you can tell her.". So, she only told one person. Then she asked me "May I ask, purely out of curiosity, how long you've liked me?" and I said "Like 9 days. I know, that's pretty weird." and she said it wasn't then I said that she something along the lines of "I don't like any guy because I haven't gotten to know them in these two we
