I am on no other sites but basil right now, and i have a pretty good antivirus shield on my computer. Every page that i have been going to it's been giving me warnings about a trojan virus! I cant tell what exactly its on but every page i go to it pops up! so if ur antivirus isnt turned on or u dont have antivirus protection i recomend u get it just to be safe! My stepdad works for a huge software company and told me to download avast look it up its free and very good protection. Im not a promoter or anything just trying to help yall out!

Pretty sure you've been infected. Try scanning your comp to see if anything comes up and have u downloaded any suspicious files in the past week

Avast is pretty good, if a little annoying when a virus hits (it plays an obnoxious loud warning sound when the window pops up). At this point, I've since uninstalled Avast and now use AVG, mostly because of an incident about half a year ago when a bad update went out and Avast was giving false positives.

Something could have infected your firefox/ie/chrome. It happened to me, it hijacked my searches and would completely redirect them. o: my dad cleaned my computer and found out the issue and it was gone. That might be it.

you my friend, have a virus... the virus is trying to get you to buy crap antivirus software, and unless you do a bunch of system purges, everything you do will start to be blocked... good luck sir (P.S. this kinda thing can come from simply viewing a website, contrary to popular beliefe that something must be downloaded)

You don't need AdBlock to stop yourself from clicking on an ad. You need a brain and basic motor function.

Be sure to download Spybot with the latest updates and then run it in Safe Mode. I don't know what the virus is called but it's a pain in the ass to get rid of. I had to run Spybot in Safe Mode about 2 or 3 times AND delete the folder where the virus was located before I finally got rid of it. IIRC, it acts like a Windows Security Center popup that displays a bunch of "Fake" trojan horses you currently have on your system. It also disables your windows firewall, so be sure to turn it back on. If I'm wrong on any of this, please do correct me. Hope this helps.
