Hair Gel for guys?

So my hair is finally long enough to use gel, what gel do you guys use, I want it just to go straight up, and i like the ones that it makes your hair look kinda shiny or have water in it. Something that I can get from Target or Walmart would be awesome

I'm pretty sure all hair gel brands work.

all gels i tried at walmart sucks cause they leave flakes after it drys up, i know axe would be good for the price, but id go with any salon brand

Don't people normally use gel for shorter hair? I don't like gelling/moosing my hair when it gets longer since it gets unmanageable and nasty looking.

I get axe gel at Fred Meyers. If you put the right amount it can hold up your hair and look like theres no gel at all so it looks natural ;)

I use Crew gel. It stays on all day and smells good too. :D
