| So today I was bored and started flipping pages to see some interesting records and i saw something that is related to maple which was really surprising. The title was "First arrest for murder of a virtual victim" Description about the title: In October 2008, a 43-year old piano teacher was arrested in Miyazaki, Japan, after killing her online husband. The woman had been unexpectedly "divorced" in the context of role-playing game Maplestory, in which avatars can marry. She was jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating data using gaming partner's ID and password to log on to the game and "murder" her partner. If convicted, she could be jailed or fined up to $5000. Reading this made me say wow..but what did you guys think? Discuss |
