Why do dexless people wear dex equips and not luk equips?

I am gonna make a dexless bandit and I saw in some guide that I need dex equips. But what I don't get is:we don't wear items that require dex. Having dex isnot necessary. So why do dexless people wear dex equips?

To attain enough dex to wear those weopons. For those say its for ACC and its an essential stat, he's talking about BANDITS...Luk= ACC, no? How hard is it to read?

I think what the TS is asking is, "Why bother being DEXless when you can have LUK equips?" and I agree completely.

No dex is your main stats for sins. Pour all your stats into dex and use a garnier for the rest of your life. /end sarcasm

To round it up, imo it's if you're really godly and can afford to obtain 100+ dex from equips, then go for it and you'll be wearing some nice daggers while having 25 dex (Base)

I wear them just to be able to equip my gear (160 dex max at all times)

I am a dexless hermit and in 2 levels ima be a dexless lamp 103 lamp xd Anyways I used luk equips till 100 cuz skanda is good enuf till then Then I swiched to dex equips so I can wear the dex claws like craven And after bb we will need dex too so ill get it from equips So dexless dits will need dex and str later on from equips to wear their Str daggers and their khanjar

2 types 1. uses maple weapons whole life, uses luk equips 2. uses dex equips to wear normal claws that low-dex, normal dex users use.

Techincally, a "Dexless" character is a character with the lowest amount of dex possible, without any equips to boost dex, focusing on only their main stat (luk for thieves) A "Low-Dex" character is a character that tries to keep their dex as low as possible and uses equips that boost DEX so they can equip weapons and / or armor for their level

Ok, since I have a Dexless Bandit too I think I can provide some...minor help... You do not need dex equips AT ALL in my opinion, you have your dagger mastery for your acc...60% acc and 20 or the usual 19 acc is more than enough to hit an average of 400-500 at lvl 50 or so (though my equip currently suck...) You will need lots of dex equips in order to equip the normal daggers anyway, I'm planning to just scroll my Kebob and live with it. The only reason why I would even have dex equips would be to equip a Wristguard or something but a att Maple Shield will be better.

Guys, you don't need dex to equip stronger endgame weapons anymore as statless weapons currently are the strongest endgame weapons.

Like everyone else has been saying. You do wear LUK gear unless you want to wear higher level weapons that require DEX, then you stack DEX gear.

@plat914. wrong. a dexless person is somebody who adds no dex to their base.low dex usually adds a couple points to their dex. dexless wear dex equips to equip dex claws while still adding all points. into luk

Well I am dexless(base 25) and i wear quite a few dex equips as well. I personally have dex equips because of potentials. I have enough dex to wear pirate tops/pants so i can have more luk if i get %luk potentials on them.

you guys forgot the fact that LUK adds a considerable amount of accuracy as well, not to mention the LUK %age equips and LUK DEX and ACC from items like zhelms
