For those of you who played in like, years ago, I'm just wodering if anyone of you looks at the giant change the game has gone through. I remember the days of Mark Of The Beta dana, the very beginning of the new GMS. I remember when kerning pq was amazingly crowded, and the fun resting in a ch and "tracking" stg1, 2, 3, 4, BONUS BONUS CLICK LEADER CLICK. After that orbis came, and ludi, ludi pq was the new kpq, crowded, fun. Then nexon brought cpq, and if it wasnt enough, cpq 2, they turned the FM useable, and from rooms to meet it became just a crowded merchants land. The game became less about parties, some online community, and fun, to a factory of lvling up as fast as possible, hacking, dcing, and merchanting. The game used to be challenging, now before lvl 50 or higher u won't have to work hard. Unless u're unexped. The newbies can't afford % equips, can't get the amount of mesos needed to be wanted for anything, and they end up wasting their money to get nx, spend it for a big amount of money that they'll lose in notime, their new after all. So way to go nexon, the game has tons of players, u make heckloads of money, and it's still sorta fun, but in a different way. I'm so sorry bout the length of this post, that's what happens when I'm bored.

[/quote] I'm sad they didn't have the LPQ glasses, Squishy slime shoes back in the day. I did at least a thousand of both of those pqs and now both of them are pretty barren. Also the one true thing that made lvl70 such an achievement back in the day.... Zombie grinds. 55-70 it was the only place worth training at and it gave you about 10-15% an hour and that was blistering fast back then.

Oh man I remember when Orbis and Ludi just came out, ne and all the Kpqers were allways there dreaming on what class will they be when they get to Lpq and how they are gonna do 10 pqes a day, these days were fun... you spammed monsters for hours just to get 1 lvl, and trying to Allways track Tiger and Suuushi.... I quited a bit after Ludi came out (like 1~3 month after it), then came back 3~4 years later back to the game and I was like wtf? how am I allready 70?

Dawg i agree with you, i joined Maplestory when there was v.75 it was hella fun and "inocent" now is like you have to "surivive" because there are alot of mean people who will try to ruin your fun in MS (hackers TONS OF THEM!, scammers TONS OF THEM INFM, ksers there are always ksers) With the new thngs (enhancement scrolls, potential scrolls) There are now ubergodly HACKED items... like +xx enhanced item -.-'' that just ridiculous. Now the game is so corrupted and no fun anymore.

I started at 0.06 and the people were nicer, but the game more empty. Some time later hackfest came down upon us, but the type of hacking was completely different. People hacked to get EXP, not to get money. Today hackers hack to get rich. I don't think the game's gotten any worse, it's just part of the community that wants money and more money.

I'm sad that PPQ is empty nowadays... D: I'm glad that I still my hat from there, and when I hit level 7x, I remember how godly it was to use arrow eruption at the large mobs. Haha. c:

To the Good Ol' Days when Nx first came out. And Nexon stated that "Nx will not influence game play" That it was merely for the clothing, and sparkleys and what not. -sigh- Now it is alot about Nx ain't it?

I hated selling things in Perion Ch 1. Too crowded and so much spam... Then again, same as FM Entrance :P.

Oh yeah, definitely the good 'ol days. I remember Mark of the Beta, before Cash Shop was even implemented. Then Zakum came (omglolwut?) and no one could defeat him. ZHelms were rare as heck and leveling past 60 was considered a feat. Tracking people in KPQ and trying to figure out what the heck to do for my first few times in LPQ. Hanging out with my buddies in henesys, faming and leveling random noobs for the fun of it. Good times, good times....

Orbis wasnt always there. I remember it first coming out. I remember the perion thing too. One thing about the good ole days was the vac hackers. I never liked that. They were everywhere. Yes we have d/c hackers and all but it was a lot worse. I remember when you would be sitting in kerning looking for a party you wanted the leader to have a track. People were a lot nicer and things were more challenging. People are lazy now. They dont even try to level on their own. Honestly I leeched like three levels and that was about it. But there are some people that leech throughout.

Only good thing about the old days were the PQs, I mean 10%/hr at lv7x is crzy. I remember grinding on Red Drakes with my I/L hunting for steelies...
