This is MY story, and a bit of yours

Well, I'm creating a story out of boredom for mainly myself to entertain as I don't really ever do creative thinking. Here's a basically summary I've thought out so far: http://thetenwiseguys.blogspot.com/ 1.Main Character starts out in a black room 2.MC finds that black room is actually a labyrinth of sorts, explores it 3.Encounters strange creature, but MC flees quickly, passes out later due to hunger. 4.MC Wakes up in a laboratory, but cannot move. 5.MC finds a way to break free and makes a run for it. 6.He makes it outside and escapes the facility he was apparently in. 7.He later comes across a few homes that are barricaded, but broken, and he sees blood smeared all around. no body around. 8.He finds what he needs, a weapon, and goes out and explores the town. 9. A first encounter with a creature in the shadows, MC runs out of fear. 10.MC hears gunshots in the distance, goes to find out. 11.Sees a guy in the distance shooting other people that seem to crowd around him. I was wondering if you guys wanted to add some stuff into it. Maybe even think up a name for the MC. Since I really love zombies, this story will end up having zombies of sorts in it. Got any other ideas you guys wanna put in? I would love to hear it. You can ask to be put in as a character of the story, although I cannot promise what role you'll play, it would help if you gave me a short character profile of your proposed character, like name and personality and history if you want.

Well, how about MC meets up with someone along the way and MC gets saved by the person and they become close friends, watching each others' backs. But later, in an unspecified attack bestfriend protects MC and MC founds out who did the deed later and tracks him down. In between there's a bunch of other stuff.

Basil is lackluster when it comes to teamwork, you'll have a troll sooner or later come up with random crap, also the chaotic confusion will commence sooner or later =/.

[/quote] Well, even in a sea of crap you'll find that out of place thing that interests you. I'm open to any stupid ideas too, but I just don't know how I'll fit em in.

I'll usually name the main character after whatever I call them. A narrator, for example, would be Nate. Main character... Matthew?

[/quote] Well, the thing is essentially journal styled, so it's the MC who's the narrator, Nate or Matthew could be okay I think. Hakizo I'm basically going to just draft out ideas and form a loose story out of them and stuff. If you looked at the blog, you'll see I post parts of the story almost daily. It's going to be my ongoing story that won't end for a while.

TheLastSamurai yeah, then or maybe you could turn the bestfriend into a zombie if you really wanted, and the MC HAS to kill his bestfriend (before he turns to zombie or after) to make it more dramatic

It's a twist I personally have never seen in the zombie genre. Hmm...
