Animal Rights? Don't exist

DISCLAIMER: I absolutely believe animals should not be abused. They just don't have rights. (And killing and eating mass quantities to nourish humans is NOT abuse) Obviously humans are superior to animals. We have freedom... (animals don't. Disagree? then what are pets?) We are self-aware (we are human and realize we are so. No animal realizes that it's say a dog) We can reason (we can think what no animal can. Animals only have knowledge derived from sensory experience. We can reason thinks we can't see, such as justice) We have a conscience (no animal thinks "should i or should i not?") We can love (we commit ourselves beyond emotion, instinct, selfishness, to another person) So yes... we are superior. Now if you believe in animal rights... you should also believe in "plant" rights. Animals are simply an inferior living thing. Plants are simply more inferior. They react in much the same way. They nourish themselves, defend themselves, and are definitely living. Therefore, if eating chicken is WRONG because of animal rights... then a bag of lettuce should be considered genocide by these standards. Animals can, and always WILL be eaten by us. If you try to save them, they wont care. They would still not think twice about eating you if they were hungry. __________________________________________________________________
