A lot of people both in real life on my campus and on basil seem to have the misconception that being average is good enough. It isn't good enough at all for the future lol. Y'all need to step it up and be above average mang!

Surely average is good enough otherwise it wouldn't be the average now would it :/ ? If you're talking about the average standard of today relative to what it should be in the future then you have a fair point...

Tbh my mate's bro did do fairly well, got an upper second class honours in biochemistry from Edinburgh and is now working in investment banking. His salary was something like 75,000$ per year without bonuses which is amazing for someone who's in their early 20s..

Assuming my life goes according to plan, i'm going to be making like 50K a year for the first 3 years of my job and then go up to like 200k >_>
