What will happen to decent items skills?

If we have rented decent items like hb pants but do not own them will nexon patch this glitch that allows us to keep this skill? What if we buy the service and hotkey before the patch if there is one? Any answers to these questions is much appreciated. Also would it be possible to justify your answers and show any proof if there is any.

This isnt a glitch. Once you equip the item and unequip it, you keep the skill.

Lol, just like you, I have this exact same question in the back of my mind. I have a 4att reverse glove and obviously, I am not very pleased w/ that stat but I want the SE skill. So I am still struggling in this thought of whether or not should I just cube it and get the skill because if it actually is a glitch, and nexon is gonna patch it, then I think I will be doomed for -_-''

I am hopeful that this will get patched, along with the Equipment Enhancement exploit. Maplestory is fast becoming a bad joke.

So if you have the item with the skill, then you're OK. But if you don't have the item, but you still have the skill, that's where the "glitch" or non glitch is taking place.

However, is it also considered "another glitch" if I can use the skill even if I don't equip the item but only have it in my inv.?

[/quote] i agree with the guy saying it isn't a glitch. 1. it would be more likely a glitch if the skill actually left your skillbook window after unequipping but the hotkeyed skill still worked. 2. Last i checked it is the same way in KMS (correct me someone if i'm wrong on this). Even if it is a "glitch" and it gets removed then it's not too much of a big deal in my opinion.

[/quote] Well, I somehow agree w/ your first point here but the thing that concerns me is that Nexon may have made an unintentional mistake on not removing the skill from the skillbook menu after you unequip your item. We just never know if Nexon really made this on purpose or they just haven't found out about it yet (unless someone can prove w/ some concrete evidence(s) that Nexon actually made this "glitch" on purpose). And for god's sake, who knows what they are gonna do if they found out about this as a "glitch". Because, I don't wanna stick w/ my 4att glove while I know I can get a better one for the same skill. Also, to you I don't know, but to me it's obviously a big deal because to get my reverse glove from rare => unique, it may require "endless" amount of cubes and that all depends on luck. And yet, I don't wanna gamble with my luck on something I am not even sure about.

huyemperor i understand your concern, it came across as a thought for me as well, me personally would have to go with either not having the advantage of the skill or spurging on making separate gloves 1 with and 1 without for certain situations as required. in the end only time can tell what will happen to these skills.
