I'm soon getting to 70, and I plan on using a AE build. I checked the training sticky, and it seemed a bit out dated. I was wondering where a good spot was for 70-80ish. I intend to gallo ASAP wt a priest friend. I was thinking wolf spiders or storm breakers, or jesters (I hate jesters). Thanks a lot for your input.

The stickies are surprisingly NOT out of date... those spots are just that good. If you wish to gallo, go ahead when you feel ready; I recommend 21+ AE. Stormbreakers will have you tank too many hits for my tastes, and wolf spiders were on the training guide; if it's not, it's cause it really isn't that great of a spot. To be honest, as soon as you can typhon, do it; it's much better exp than almost anywhere else. I went to typhons with 11+ AE and it was already better than gobies, newties, or squids (i went 20 strafe first).

Typhoons is around 2-3x faster then anything else, except for galloperas with a bishop at level 90ish. From 75-90. go typhoon. Windraider from 70-75. Stormbreakers suck for bowmen.

Umm if i remade my MM i would go Windraiders 70-80 with a strafe build, solo newts/se mule and maybe hs till about 100 then party. This seemed like the rout i would take after trying all the training spots as a sniper.

Put 1 into AE and start doing TJ's. I was at TJ's all the way to 86 then found it very slow then went to typhoons

I honestly did 70-80 in a night at wr on 4x, 80-85 in a 2x sessions at newts, 85-90 in a 2x session at newts and then 90-94 at gobies due to this 200% bonus (HELLA good there with just regular 2x) and then finished off with newts 94-100 in bout 2-3 hours on 4x. Honestly... I'd go newts at 80, there is all this hype about typhons, but theyre not even that good, and a betch of a map.

sain2357 you just suck at typhoon. The map is accually really nice, you just dont know how to train. Its more then two times faster then newts, unless you have like 100% dex equips extra.

[/quote] Even then, I find that solo typhons > solo newties until around lv 100 or so; at which point you would go snipe crimson guards and solo newts is STILL not the best place to go. Newties are only good if you get an HS party. |
