Has anyone played MapleStory on intel i3, i5, or i7 core?

My question is, if you have played maplestory on either one of these processors, does the lag spike (1 second lag every 15 seconds) still exist with those processors? I'm trying to run an analysis so i can send a ticket to Nexon in regards of known lag spike.

Doesn't matter what type of processor you use. This 15-second lag spike is normal during MS gameplay. Nexon is already aware of this problem and they're currently looking for a solution to fix it.

I run an I7, never had any issues with it. Also what the guy above said. Your more likely to lag thanks to bad latency then a bad computer.

Your cpu would be the last of your worries for maplestory. As previous stated, it would be your internet connection/nexons problem. Hope this helped

[/quote] No, it's not your internet connection or computer. Many users, I mean MANY, have the same problem regardless how powerful or weak their computers are. You may have gotten used to the lag spike (unnoticeable) or do not have it at all. As for me, I have started to take notice of it a few weeks ago. It happened for more than half a year. I thought it was my computer but apparently it's a server-sided bug.

On my desktop i get the 15 second spike but on my new HP, i5 laptop, i don't get it at all o.O (same internet connect).

ya man seriously the past few days I've been tryna boss and sell stuff but the laggggggggg is so unbearable I mean I can like stream youtube and websites fine but MS... lag takes like 20 seconds to enter a portal btw is nexon aware of this and actively trying to fix it? Cause I'm pissed I accidently dropped my PAC and then d/ced... never found it again
