ehancement scrolls, incorrect text?

mostly a rant, but also a question. Why is it that enhancement scrolls fail so much? I am about the zone to start transitioning from polearm to spear and I just finished maxing crusher. So I go on a quest to create a spear. I start by buying cheap crap off MTS, after about 20$ I end up with a +5, 0 slots, 12 str, 131 atk pinaka. Im like sweet, but I should try to pass a potential/enhancement scroll. First enhancement scroll, supposedly 80% chance of working KABLEWLY. So after passing 4, 30% scrolls and a 50% scroll, an 80% scroll makes it go boom, like come on seriously. I am also now broke and still without a weapon >< SS or fake o_O EDIT* I think I will just resort to buying one now. If anyone has a 135+ Pinaka preferably, 140+ faltizan or 125+ ski's. Give me a shout and we can work out a price on MTS, I am serious and have no qualms about dropping some cash for an endgame weapon

I don't risk my chances with end game equips, for example I would only use a potential scroll on my Level 100 Dual Blade mask if it was 100% chance or didnt boom.

you miss out on some crazy bonuses if you don't use potential though. Like 30% increased damage on bosses

Meh, I failed 2 of them in a row. Is funny because everytime before I scroll my item I take screen shot and they explode after...

I forgot to take a SS of my damage range with it on, was pushing ~4600 top end at 102 =), you know before it went kaboom
