And I threw away the items on day 1. Is there any way to restart the entire mission or am I legitimately screwed over?

Are you talking about the OSSS mission orders quest for the medals or the first quests where you talk to the telephone?

No you're not screwed. You can still do all quests from Stage 1 - 3. You're just a little behind is all. Better catch up!

if u are talking about the bing suit, then all u have to do is re talk to Dr. Bing again and he will give u another suit, and yeah u are pretty far behind but oh well we still have like 18-20 days os the event left so yeah u can still get it done.
