Scarlet letter wasn't a bad book at all and it honestly wasn't that hard to read. To answer your question, spark notes if you can't.

That book seriously sucks. I had to read it for highschool sophomore english and only got half way through before I had to stop (and I normally love to read).

I hated that book. I had to read it over the Summer for AP Language. My teacher said she'd test us on every little detail, but the test was really a take-home one so it was pretty easy. Honestly, just Sparknote it. You said you need DETAILS, so why are you asking for a summary?

LonelyStoner It won't, I'm just saying that I'd rather read the whole book than use sparknotes so I can get every detail. @ above I haven't started reading it yet, I just want to know what it's about. It would take me an hour to read the sparknotes summary.
