Why are 'Unique' or 'Epic' Items worth so much?

Well I had store open one day and I had these lvl 100 warrior pants that had 6% LUK, 3% ACC and 100W.DEF and I thought it wasn't worth anything because nobody needed LUK or ACC or DEF so I put it up for 2mil and someone bought it. About 3 people left me a message saying "uhh dude, those pants were worth 60-200mil." I was like "o_o". Are there LUK warriors now? Srsly, what makes an crappy Epic Item worth so much?

because when the item progresses from Rare>Epic>Unique, the potential stats it gives are better. If you sell a Epic equip, it means the person buying it wont have to spend cubes making it go from Rare>Epic, but can focus on gettinng it from Epic>Unique

epic can only go up, not back down to rare. which means less cubes needed

It's because people want to cube them because they have three lines. If they cube it well, it can have amazing stats.
