Played Halo Reach yesterday

A friend of mine got the game two days ago and he invited me to play it yesterday. Bungie announced that millions of copies have already been shipped, so it's impossible for someone to not already have the game, so they allowed people to play online without getting banned from Xbox Live (like they did with Halo 3). However, stats will be reset when release day comes. Anyways, first impressions of this game: It looks, and plays amazing. They've brought back familiar Halo 2 maps as well as enhanced the way a Halo game is played. I found the scout class to be the most useful and fun to me because being able to sprint speeds up the game as well as increasing survivability. There was also this interesting class skill called Hologram, where you create a hologram of your character and send it running in the direction you're facing. Let me tell you, this thing looks so real. Your reticule doesn't turn red when you shoot at it, but it proves to be a great distraction and it's hilarious to kill someone who started shooting at your hologram They have also removed auto-aim. Your reticule doesn't follow enemy heads anymore. It's now harder to snipe, but I think this change in gameplay will definitely draw the line between good and bad players. So I will be getting this game as soon as it comes out and I recommend that you do too.

i pre-ordered it and cant wait to play it! but too bad theres school and i'll probly wont play until the weekend. D: also, how did ur friend get his hands on it early..? :S im new to owning a halo game. ive only played halo CE demo and halo 2 at a friend's on xbox :S

I eventually got the rhythm down and started to like it. Like I mentioned before, no more auto aim, so stuff like sniping and DMRing becomes more difficult.

I never noticed that the recticle drags. ThatDangerzone is my IGN, look for it when Reach comes out. Me and one of the captains are going to get it after practice on Tuesday.

Have you heard about the drop shield?Its like a regeneration thingy and a bubble shield but you can shoot the shield and it will explode but it regenerates your health.
