Argument with my mom.

I know most of the time, on Basil, when a person has an argument with their mom, Basil always flames the TS, but however, I feel this story is different. As some of you may know Canadian students started school on September 7, 2010, as opposed to the week or two before like in the US. But my story doesn't start there, it starts two or three months beforehand. My mom was laid of her job as a PSW when the old lady she had been taking care of had died at 102 years old. The old lady she was working for pampered her, bringing her to Miami to take care of her and taking her out of dinner at luxurious restaurants. Since getting laid off she's held two jobs, another PSW job, and a side job cleaning up an office space after-hours. She quit the PSW job two weeks in claiming the boss was "abusive" just because the lady asked her to iron the clothes on her first day. My mom, not being able to put up with the drastic change in employer type, she quit. So that leaves the Cleaning job she picked up some time at the beginning of August. Ever since then she's been dragging me to this job for two hours every few night during the weekdays to help her out. I complied at first since I was unemployed (16) and needed a bit of money. It slowly became something from every few nights to every night. School was coming up, and I asked her what the plan for that was. She said I wouldn't have to do it every night. I said "Good, I don't plan on being there till 9 PM everyday, I'll have homework." Lets fastforward to now, the first week of school has just ended, as everyone knows Labor day is a day off for pretty much everyone, so we didn't have to clean up the office that day. However, I did work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, she told me I wouldn't have to work on Friday because Danny(The person who set up the cleaning job) would be doing it solo. Friday comes, I'm expecting not to work, I'm out with friends, and she tells me we have to go that night. That's when I flipped. I told her I wasn't doing this every night and thats what it turned into. I have friends, homework and my own stuff I have to put up with. She tells me that she'd drive me to my friends after it's over, and I tell her "Thats bull, You're going to end up driving me there at 9:30, and I'm going to be too tired to do anything there because of work." So she goes alone. She gets home at 11:00 and she's ticked. I felt bad for not going with her but, I don't feel like I should be told I wouldn't be doing something everyday, and that's what happens. I would've been fine if I knew I'd be working Friday the day or two before, but I already had plans.

strike a deal with her, thats what i do make it seem like its in her favor, but not actually besides, the money would really come in handy, seeing as you live off her money, you can spend/save however much you want where i live, most ppl just lazy around all day, when they dont do homework, so take that time and work you can get a laptop, a bike(to solve the traveling problem), a skateboard, nx, so many things you dont know how lucky you are

Yeah, do homework after school? I'm in IB you tool. We get insane homework, alot of us are doing homework from after school till sleep. Tsk Tsk, ignoramuses these days.
