Are Evans going to be accepted to boss runs? Just wondering

Many people over exaggerate about organizing boss runs. Honestly, whenever the host feels like running, he/she will just take about anybody. It's usually "R>DK for hb and Bishop!" in the end.

To be honest, i`m dissapointed with evan`s after the BBP.. of course, we`re getting a boost to some point, but to be honest, our dpm and stuff isn`t even near most of the other classes.. yeah, we will probably sell leech with earthquake now, but that`s not what I want from this class.. But the above poster might be right..

But the above poster might be right.. [/quote] There is only one map an Evan could effectively sell leech with EQ on, and that is at galloperas. EQ just doesnt have the horizontal range to do so effectively on other maps. Even then, leech is pretty much becoming something only the rich [or people with connections] and lazy do, since it has been nerfed to the point that most people find training to be faster and more cost effective.

Who cares about DPM/DPS. As long as a character can do some damage and survive, any class should get accepted. No ?

They might not get on Horn Tail runs, and most likely won't get on Pink Bean Runs (or for the time being, anyways), but any other boss run should be fine.

[/quote] Wouldn't Mages and Paladins be better than others at Pink Bean? Doesn't it have that 50% resistance to non-elemental, physical attack while it has no resistance to Magic, and weak to lightning? or has it been changed since this is old stuff?

[/quote] Maybe Pink Bean is special, but I think that all the damage reductions apply to everybody, unless they have a skill that breaks down the Physical Defense. But if you're right, PB parties would be full of mages.

They had really good skills compared to other mages before BB, so I think the gap between archmages and evans will be smaller once BB makes mage skills more powerful. Maybe archmages might be better at bossing from what I saw on that DPM chart, but idk if it's reliable.
