Max stat and potential

I've been gone for a long time. The max stat is 999 is it not? Can you exceed this limit with potential %stats? or does it cap at 999 either way?

I think its 30,000. Thats when you can no longer max out ability point

Base stats are capped at 999. You can go over that with equips and anything else that gives stats

only base ap is max at 999 w/ any items that add ap can go past it
