| Hmm...jumping isn't totally useless. You can propel yourself forward because Double Shot/Burst Fire casting causes you to stop moving when you attack. Usually if anything, it's for extra mobility....? And not that I know of for jumping increases anything other than that. But yes, in a sense they're like sins. |

| Sins also jump because of the lack of close range, so they may be able to jump high enough with haste to get out of the monsters range. |

|
Bassix007 : a sins stars go farther if they jump with it. i think guns might too
that's actually not true. the reason sins jump when they throw is so when they are in mobs they can jump over the monsters and actually throw stars instead of just punching them. there is absolutely no reason to do it other than that. other than it's kinda fun. :P and for slingers, there's no reason other than recoil shot. they don't even hit with their guns anymore.
Shadowrageo : the thingy about no minimum range
whaaaaatt? |

| ^above, When we play slingers now, we don't whack when we use a skill unlike before. We only whack with our normal att. |

|
MyNaginata : I can understand jumping in a direction and attacking, but jump attacking in place when the monster is hittable without jumping is something I've seen and makes absolutely no sense.
I'm going to take a wild guess that these crazy jump attackers are doing a new workout routine, or are exercising their maple characters. You can play a Gunslinger bowman style (stand still and shoot) or sin style (jump around and shoot) Honestly I feel that because gunslingers shoot pretty fast, its better to stand still and shoot because jumping will hinder your shooting speed hence lower your DPS, which thus, lowers your killing speed, and this leads to gaining less exp, which ultimately leads to leveling up slower, causing you to jump even more in an effort to level faster. Its a vicious cycle. |
