Yes, just expect to not be able to boss decently or at all and probably bad lag + d/c if you keep it up for longer than 8 hours. I'm saving up to downgrade to XP. Got 2 recovery disks made and the original OS in case if it fails.

Well, I'm doing it cause maple is actually why I bought my new laptop. You can try dual booting, but it has to be able to handle it. Also... it might mess it up, like the sound or graphics. Depending on your manufacture, you might can downgrade to xp through them for cheap/free. I'm with HP and they only offer to go to vista for free. Only pcs bought for use for a business (and usually those mass produced) have between october 2009-april 2011 to downgrade to xp from windows 7 for free of charge.. EDIT : above - I did say bossing... also.. from what I've read on basil.. about 75-85% of people on basil (7-8 out of 10 posts) have problems with maple and windows 7.

It's like a 50/50 chance. Some people can play fine, for others, it's hell trying. I really don't think throwing a copy of XP on there will solve all the problems either. I wouldn't bank on it anyway.

I have a friend that is dual booting and working fine for him. I'm not doing that cause too much work since only intense thing I do on my laptop is maple. No other games.

Not sure about the XP (maple friend, not irl). But his windows 7 and mine are both the 64 bit. heard of some problems also on the 32 bit, just seems to be if you have 64 bit, more problems or more chance of problems.

-hugs Gekke- I know how you feel. To be honest, I didn't get any of these problems til about the update before Dual Bladers... maybe 1 before that. I wanna boss to make mesos... but can't, so stuck to what looting I do during training and selling that.

If you go to ur maplestory folder right click the .exe and click properties. Then click compatiblity and change the thing from Windows Xp to the thing tht matches ur computer. Fiddle around and you'll get it.

Changing it to XP compatible doesn't work I think. Most people get a hackshield error, if I'm not mistaken, when they do that? I only had to change the graphics settings after arms during zak runs (or randomly during bosses at CWPQ). But after DB's, can't even make it a minute or so (zak summoned or not) before I DC.
