First off, I'm not surprised that there are a lot of people who are displeased about this alien event, how it messes up a lot of maps, and how the background may be pretty annoying. I can't say that it's their fault though. They're doing whatever they can do help us Maplers enjoy our gaming experience. You don't like the event? Deal with it. You think that NX cash users have an advantage? Get used to it. Nexon's Maplestory motto, " Free to Play" gives it away. It's FREE TO PLAY . Stop whining about how NX users have the advantage over anything. NX is really like a luxury you have in real life, unneeded, but you have it because you want it. You don't need it, you want it. There's a distinction between the two. A need is a necessity that you need to survive. A want is something you desire, but do not need in life to survive. Examples like TV, cars, and computers are all wants, not needs. Food, and water are a need. Get what I'm saying? Even more, for you guys who are whining about the customer service, you try dealing with tickets with a small staff. Yeah sure they could hire more people, but they would need the sufficient funds to do so. Sure, they may be a multimillion dollar company, but think of what they need to keep up-to-date, from their servers, the workers that are already hired there, and other things needed to keep Maplestory, and all of their other games running. Don't forget that not all their money goes into Maplestory, although it seems like it. I've seen plenty of Australians whining about the times that Nexon sets for the events, how the Americans are at the advantage with them having the server checks, and events placed at times where they'll be able to play. seriously, go look it up, it's Nexon North America now, not Global. If you're gonna whine about playing a game that's not in your designated area, too bad, you didn't read the ToS, or anything of the matter. Last but not least, I'd like to introduce to you a quote. It really ties in with the hate Nexon's been getting. You'll all realize that you couldn't handle a multimillion dollar company without having all these complaints, and the work and effort you must put in this.

Just because something's free doesn't mean it's good. If you got a computer for free, and it exploded the moment you plugged it in (killing your family in the process), would you be like "ah well, the computer was free"? Consumers have a right to complain, as it is their right. I agree with the NX thing though.

It's technically not "free to play" anymore since we're exposed to thier ads and whatnot. They get a lot of revenue from that. Just like how basilmarket and youtube is "free". People do not rage at Nexon unless there is something to rage about. And as it turns out, there are quite a number of things. For example, they rarely (or never) answer tickets. My friend's hacking one is still up (10months and counting). Now the game is also a blatant balance between the NXless and the NXed. Need some meso? Spend some dollars and you'll be an instant billionaire (even an idiot can go buy mesobags)! Need more damage? Go cube something until its 15%! I'm not even one of the Nexon haters really. They have their problems like every other company. I just really don't understand people who defend Nexon. As a customer, you really have the right to complain when things go wrong.

Because there are so many ignorant people on Basil that won't listen to a single thing anyone says. There are the immature, the mature, and the extremely immature ones that don't give a damn about you.
