I honestly don't get it, what is with teenagers and losing their virginity then bragging about it? I thought that virginity should be respected and kept until the right time. But nowadays, kids are eager to lose it, like it's a trend now. I came from a country where losing your virginity is like very sacred, most teenagers are still virgins and some teenagers who lost their virginity would be very embarrassed to talk about it. I had a friend who is a girl, she had sex with her boyfriend and her mother found out, she was severely beaten. She was 16 at that time. But after moving to Canada, everything was vice versa. I had friends whose parents gave them condoms, etc etc. I went to parties, saw girls dressed up like prostitutes, letting guys touch them because both are drunk outta their mind. I still remember one of my acquaintance asked me if I was still a virgin, I told him yes, he laughed at me and told me to go get laid ASAP. It seems as if kids nowadays do not appreciate such precious gifts. Or maybe it's just me, maybe it's because I'm thinking like a mature guy. Now before you say that I'm saying this because I can't get laid, I've had lots of chances to get laid but I never took it because I don't feel like it's the right time. Discuss if you want, I don't even know if this is a rant or what.

nergin talking eek honestly though you're in a different country. canada/us are completely different than where you are from. over here it's regular for kids to be drinking/smoking/having sex @ 13-14 lmfao. nothing wrong with it, i like it tbh, but that's coming from a kid who grew up like this and was raised into this society.

okay, i'm going to be honest and say that i do agree with what you're saying, but that it's mainly based on people's perspectives on sex because either way, you're either going to feel like you should have sex before marriage, at a certain age, etc and other people aren't going to feel the same way. as humanmango said, that's kind of social progression with varying views. that's the basis because regardless of your decision, your age is what dictates how you deal with it. prob why most teens 'brag' about it.
