| What attack shield do you need to be competetive with a 1h sword vs 2h sword? I just recently got an attack shield and thinking about going 1h. |

| Because possible 22-24 att.. not showing off just making sure if i do decide to go 1h if ill be competetive with 2h users.. ex: st users.. I mean i dont want to spend money on going 1h if i didnt have enough attack on my shield.. |

| Nothing, I mean it's locked with item lock. Meaning I can't sell it T_T. I also regret locking my 20 att andras... Potentials really screwed a lot of my stuff over. If you can get a 14 att 100 shield with say 9% str. It would beat a 24 att 12 str, 240. With a base of 700 str. |

| Ohhh lol yeah maybe ill try to cube my maple shield again.. I know it wont be much.. If im lucky ill be able to get 2% str on it or if im luckier MAYBE 3% str.. I think my other equips might make up for not having 6% str on my shield.. And if anything i can use my shield untill im level like.. 120-130 and then if im feeling lucky trying to scroll a 14 att 100 shield lol. |

| Its not a set value like everyone above is claiming. In terms of Watt shields, you need Watt on your shield equal to: 27/525 * X Watt is the the total Watt excluding the shield. For example, if you have a 200 Watt setup, thats an 11 Watt shield you need to surpass the 2h watt set up. And this is only for Normal 6 2h vs. Fast 5 1h. For a ST/NRW, you'd need a shield with: x/7 X being the same as before. However, if you compare the ST to the Executioner, subtract 15 from the ST's advantage (a ST is 101 on average, a good RE can be up to 115 before scrolling and the ST requires dex). If you factor in potential bonuses, you'd have to figure you the DPM of each setup (or at least the % increase on your DPM for each set up) to figure out whether you are better off 1h or 2h. |
