I'm currently making a I/L mage, still in early stages. I was wondering, since Cold Beam and Lightning mastery levels will change, if I max one of them what will happen to those 10 skill points I used? Thanks in advance.

I think the TS is trying to say that the mastery level of a skill is going to be decreased e.g. how cold beam's mastery level is currently 30 and after BB its going to be 20. So, if you had 30 points in cold beam, what happens to the 10 SP points after the BB patch? I would like an answer to this question as well =D

Like everyone has said, based off of what happened in KMS every character gets ONE SP Reset scroll that will RESET ALL YOUR SKILL TO LEVEL 0 and return to you all the SP you ever had. So to answer your first question, just follow the guides and don't worry about your skill build for after the BB.
